Experiencing Christ in the Full-Time Training, J.L. After I graduated from college, I decided that I was not in a hurry to join the rat race in the pharmacy profession. Instead, I came to Anaheim to join a Bible Truth and Service training program, and it turned out to be one of the wisest choices I've ever made. In the morning I attended classes on different topics from the Bible. There was an array of subjects including God's plan, the Body of Christ, the Triune God, the Gospel, and the New Jerusalem. All the classes were full of content and were very applicable in my daily Christian life. Light from the Bible would pour in during these morning sessions and I always left nourished and supplied. During the afternoons, we would all go to different college campuses around the area and share the gospel with students. I often paired up with another brother to hand out gospel tracts to students and to talk to them about God, Christ, the Bible, and their need for salvation. I can certainly say that leading a sinner to repent and to receive Christ as his Savior is one of the greatest joys I have had. After we lead such a person to the Lord, we would hold Bible studies with him, where we sing hymns, pray, read the Bible, and fellowship together for our mutual encouragement and building up. Aside from all these activities, in the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA), I also have had a lot of time allotted to personal study and prayer. Not only have I learned many things concerning God in the classes, but I feel that my personal relationship with the Lord Jesus has grown deeper, richer, and more intimate. The Lord is dearer to me than He ever was before. I treasure and will forever treasure all the time I've spent in the FTTA. All the effort I have put in has been rewarded and honored very much by the Lord. I've come to know Him, gain Him, and love Him more than I ever have before here in the FTTA.
